Musical Director

Matt attended The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has been performing in plays and musicals in the West End as well as touring shows throughout the UK. He also works as the Musical Director for a contemporary Christian church and devotes his time there to working with vocalists. Matt has been honoured to share stage and screen with such household names as Judi Dench, Emma Thompson, John Lithgow, Carrie Mulligan and Tommy Lee Jones.

Lead Tutor of Senior Cast 2

Rebecca trained professionally within Musical Theatre in Bedfordshire. Here she participated in workshops with the West End cast of Chicago, We Will Rock You, Matilda and A chorus line. Rebecca achieved a Gold diploma in Ice Dance. After Rebecca trained at Birmingham School of Acting. She works as a Producer and has co-founded Manic Arts Theatre Company. Rebecca has produced/toured a variety of shows UK wide, and continues to work with different communities across the country




Funder of the BSS Showbiz who finances and organises the workshops.

A trained ballet and traditional Chinese style dancer since the age of seven. Now his speciality is in financing the theatre workshops and productions. He was involved in past pantomime productions in Birmingham and local nostalgia productions, like Go and Play Up Your Own End, Go And Play Further Up Your Own End and A League Apart.

Verity Bray


Verity qualified as a dance teacher at the age of 18 and began teaching dance throughout the West Midlands. She is currently teaching movement at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Acting and has choreographed many shows including The Vegemite Tales at The Venue Leicester Square, London; Freeman (UK Tour); The Tempest, Othello, and A Midsummer Nights Dream for Stafford Festival Shakespeare. Verity has also choreographed various Pantomimes and Rock ‘n’ Roll Pantomimes for the last 16 years at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.

Alan trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire - Acting, and has since established an eclectic career in the UK, Europe and Internationally as an Actor and Director.
